How You Can Contribute to the EcoEtsy Street Team...

- Keep up with and participate in group discussions in the Yahoo group (which you will receive an invite to upon becoming an EcoEtsy member). We require that you at least skim topics discussed in the group on a daily basis. This is especially important so that you can find out about team events, fund raisers, promo swaps and much more that is going on at any given time, and determine if you would like to be invovled in them.

- Contribute posts to our blog! Find out exactly how you can do this here.

- Tag your items with our team tag so that all of our items can be easily found on Etsy: "teamecoetsy". Team tags are a great way for us to get to know each other, and promote each other in treasuries, blogs, etc. There’s no limit to the amount of promotion our team members have received by simply using the team tag on their eco-friendly items! For instance, on our website's Categories page, your items will appear in the categories you tagged them in on Etsy if you simply include the "teamecoetsy" tag in each item's listing as well.

- Attend team meetings!. Attending all of the meetings would be ideal, but we understand that this is not always possible. Meeting times are determined by Phebe and listed on our Yahoo group calendar. They take place in the Etsy chat rooms once a month. You will receive a reminder email a couple days prior to the meeting. Meetings are important because they give the team a chance to get together and talk about goals, events, questions and concerns.

- Create a treasury featuring team members! Team shops and items can be found by doing an Etsy tag search for teamecoetsy. If you are unfamiliar with how to create a treasury, here's a great tutorial on how it all works! Feel free to ask fellow teammates questions about the treasury process as well if you have them!

- Share links to our team website and blog! There are tons of great team promotional materials for print or the web here thanks to Lolaness! These can be added to websites, blogs and social networking sites. The printed promos can be set out at craft shows you sell at, or sent out to customers along with their purchased item!

- Send info about your shop promotions, where you have been featured, etc. to our team Twitter account via direct messages that are written so that we can easily retweet them for you!

- Join our social networking groups:

- Add a statement to your shop announcement that you are a " Proud EcoEtsy Member. "
